How Tree Top SEO Experts Got Started
I was born at Ideal Hospital in Endicott — built by Endicott-Johnson, the company that put boots on the feet of the entire U.S. Armed Forces during World War II, built homes for their workers, pioneered the 8-hour workday, and created the parks that families in this area still enjoy today. I’ve spent most of my life within a few miles of where I started. My father ran White’s Greenhouse and Florist in Union Center, and I started working there at age five, filling wooden boxes with soil to grow flowers and vegetables. My wife likely did the wedding flowers for someone in half the families in this county.
As the years went on, I taught myself BASIC, wrote my own software, and won a national advertising contest for a direct mail booklet I created for the greenhouse — back when having a computer at all was unusual. When the greenhouse closed, I earned my accounting degree nights and weekends, eventually becoming Controller at Number 5 Restaurant and then spending 27 years as Controller at Fahs Construction Group in Binghamton.
Throughout those years I built and ran over a hundred websites and moderated forums for Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad community and MJ DeMarco’s Fastlane Forum. After retiring, my son and I launched White’s Family Farmhouse and Broome County Quail in Maine, NY, shipping thousands of quail eggs across the country. Watching those businesses find their customers online convinced me of something: getting found on Google is far more science than art. Tree Top SEO Experts exists to put that science to work for businesses right here in the Southern Tier.

I came to this work after over 40 years in financial management — a role where I knew what everyone in the company earned, and that information never left my desk. When I owned the greenhouse, I rang up my own personal seed purchases and paid the sales tax on them. Integrity isn’t a marketing word to me. It’s just how I operate.
